Devi Dwi Kurniawati, who goes by Devi Cha-Cha was born and raised in Gresik, East Java. Devi completed her bachelor’s degree in Economic majoring Accounting from Surabaya State University (UNS) with a fully-funded scholarship she had earned since primary school. She dedicates her work with Taman Bacaan Pelangi as her pay-it-forward activism inspired by her childhood where her father would always take her bookstore exploring on weekends and her Mother indulging her to Bobo children magazine during grocery shopping. She believes through Taman Bacaan Pelangi, she can extend the privilege of growing up with access to quality books to more and more children in Indonesia.
